What to Expect
Getting Started/Health Intake
Before your first appointment, I will ask you to fill out a preliminary health intake questionnaire to assess your background health and your goals for the treatment. You can find this intake form attached at the bottom of this page, or you can arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill it out.
This information is confidential and will only be used to best tailor your treatment to your needs and limitations. For example, most massages will be full-body (excluding private areas), but could be limited to specific muscle groups if desired.

Privacy and undressing
Before your massage, you’ll be asked to remove clothing to your level of comfort. If you decide to leave your underwear on, I will only be able to do compressive strokes in that area (such as the glutes).
Your private areas will remain covered with sheet draping at all times.
I will leave the room while you get undressed and settled onto the massage table.
Lie on the massage table, underneath the provided sheet and blanket, which will cover your body (except for when I expose that part which we are working on).
The massage table has a face cradle, which allows you to lie facedown comfortably.

Pressure and Client Comfort
I will check on pressure and general comfort throughout the massage. If you are uncomfortable at any time, please let me know and I will make adjustments.

Oils/Lubricant
I use oil or Sacred Earth massage cream. The ingredients are as follows, notify me beforehand if you are allergic to any oils or lotions:
Purified Water, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Organic Sunflower Oil, Octyl Palmitate, Emulsifying Wax N.F., Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Lavender Extract, Organic Chamomile Extract, Organic Calendula Extract, Organic Arnica Extract, Organic White Tea Extract, Sodium Carbomer, Tocopherols, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

Hot Stones
If I am using hot stones during your treatment, I will be careful to ensure they are a safe temperature. Please let me know if adjustments are needed.

After the Massage
After your massage, I will leave the room to allow you to slowly get up and get dressed. When you are done, you can open the door.
Tips are greatly appreciated, but not required.
